You know that feeling where you are about to freak if one more thing falls out of a cupboard or your kids throw one more toy under their bed? Just me? Good to know.
I’m currently at this point. I was cleaning the house today and went to go throw a toy in the boys large outdoor storage bin that we have to hold all of their toys and noticed that the lid wouldn’t even close. You guys, this thing is huge. So to say that it wouldn’t even freaking close is just embarrasing. Well not embarrasing but real life. And thats what I am here for. So at my expense you can watch today’s stories on the IG to see what we did about it. But in the mean time I am going to share ideas on how I plan on organizing the rest of my house in the coming months!
My pantry is always a source of frustration for me. I LOVE having a pantry to store my groveries in. However it’s like free range for my kids. Which leaves it in total chaos after they are done.
Now this pantry from my very very favorite IG duo, Classy Clutter, is total goals. And what I am hoping to achieve with my pantry makeover. You can find the deets for this makeover here.
I also purchased this glorious wallpaper to put in my pantry once I get to that point. Also from Clasy Clutter which you can purchase here.
This as well as the boys closet needs the most attention. Today while sorting through everything in the large bin I pulled everything out that was little. Hot wheels, small tractors, Paw Patrol figures, etc. and plan to put each of these in their own bins. I plan to put them up on a shelf so that frees up more floor space. But it will also keep my 2 year old out of the smaller toys which will mean less clean up for mom.
I love this idea that I found via pinterest from another fellow blogger here.
I have been noticing a large amount of clutter in the top of my closet. So I’ll be adding everything into baskets and labeling them all. Giving it a more clean and coheasive look.
I found this gorgeous netural image from Country Living. I also think the sorted laundry basket in the bottom of the closet adds a great layer to the already orgaized space.
I have about 1000 kids. You know this right? Which brings at least as many pounds of laundry. I currently have 1 washer and 1 dryer. And my dream is to have twice as many.
Isn’t this amazing! It literally makes my heart sing and all my dreams come true! This will be a larger renovation but to organize something I need a place to put all of the laundry that has been sorted and is ready to wash.
I have a large counter that I love having to fold all of my laundry on. But the space underneath is not being utilized. So I hope to put in a couple shelves and add in baskets like above. This way I will be ablet to remove the laundry hampers that are currently taking up floor space in my laundry room.
So tell me. What areas are you planning on organizing now? Clearing the chaos will invite the peace into your home as well as your mind.
